HandiFox Sales

HandiFox™ Sales is a full featured mobile sales system designed for QuickBooks® users. Small and mid-size companies who use QuickBooks® as their primary accounting software can now extend their sales and inventory control beyond the office.

HandiFox™ Sales can create sales orders, credit memos, and invoices. It can process payments, track inventory movement, and print reports and invoices in the field. It can synchronize with QuickBooks® through wireless Internet links or by direct connection to the QuickBooks® computer. This means sales personnel can send orders in from the field, electronically. HandiFox Sales supports multiple vehicles or locations.

IMPORTANT NOTE: HandiFox Sales contains all the functions of HandiFox Inventory, and the Shipment Verification feature.

  • Recommended System configuration:
    • At least 2.0GHz processor
    • At least 512MB of RAM (1GB recommended)
    • 512 MB of disk space
  • QuickBooks®:
    • QuickBooks US: QuickBooks® Pro, Premier, Accountant or Enterprise 2008-2012
    • QuickBooks CA: QuickBooks® Pro, Premier, Accountant or Enterprise 2009-2012
      Note: QuickBooks® Pro does not support Units of Measure and Sales Orders
  • PDA requirements:
    • Windows Mobile devices:
      • Operating system: Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0, 6.0 or later
      • Screen resolution: 480×640 or 240×320
      • SD flash card (1G minimum capacity)
      • HandiFox™ is fully compatible with Motorola PDAs. Tecom Group, Inc., has joined Motorola Technologies’ PartnerSelect Independent Software Provider Partner Program as an authorized ISV member, and HandiFox™ has been proven to operate effectively on a wide variety of Motorola devices. We recommend the Motorola MC55A0-P20SWQQA7WR which has a 1-D laser scanner.

      • We recommend the following Android devices which HandiFox has been tested with:

  • Barcode Scanner for Android devices:
    • Bluetooth barcode scanner with SPP (Serial Port Profile) type of Bluetooth connection. We recommend one of the following:
      • Socket CHS 7E
      • Koamtac KDC300
      • Opticon OPN2002
  • Label printer:
    • Brother QL-580N, labels 2-3/7" x 1-1/7"
  • Receipt Printers:
    • 2" portable belt printer
    • Zebra QL 220 Plus Mobile Label Printer
    • Letter size printing in a vehicle can be accomplished using office WiFi printers supporting the HP PCL format. These are available from HP and Brother. An AC power supply and a wireless router are required in the vehicle.
