We’re excited to share an important update about the HandiFox Android experience. As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering a faster, more reliable, and future-ready mobile workflow, we will be retiring the legacy HandiFox Online Android app on February 1, 2026.
Our new Android app includes everything you rely on today, plus enhanced performance and a modern, more intuitive design.
To avoid any interruption in your daily operations, we encourage all users to switch to the new Android app before February 1, 2026.
Why We’re Sunsetting the Old App
As warehouse workflows evolve and mobile hardware becomes more advanced, the foundation of our legacy Android app limits our ability to introduce new capabilities. Retiring the old version allows us to focus on a single, streamlined mobile platform that supports faster updates, improved stability, and better long-term compatibility across Android devices.
Meet the New HandiFox Online Android App
You may have already seen the announcement of our redesigned Android app, built not just to match the functionality of the old one, but to improve it across the board.
Here’s what the new version offers:
All the features you use today — fully supported
Every workflow available in the legacy app has been carried over and is fully functional in the new version. That includes:
- Barcode scanning
- Receiving
- Transfers
- Cycle counts
- Picking and packing
- Serial/lot/expiration date tracking
- Multiple Units of Measure
- Mobile sales
- Customer and vendor lookup
- Real-time QuickBooks sync
If you rely on a feature in the old app, you’ll find it in the new one refreshed and ready for long-term use.
A cleaner, more modern interface
The new UI is designed to reduce taps, improve visibility, and make it easier for teams to navigate while working in fast-paced environments.

We redesigned the mobile experience to align with the look and feel of our cloud platform, offering a unified experience for everyone on your team.
A foundation for future improvements
The new version is built to grow with the HandiFox ecosystem, supporting upcoming enhancements in mobility, scanning, reporting, and user experience.
What You Need to Do
To ensure uninterrupted access to HandiFox Mobile, please complete the transition to the new Android app by February 1, 2026. After this date, the old version of the app will no longer be functional.
To transition:
- Remove connected devices from HandiFox. Go to the web part of HandiFox-> Device Manager and delete your current devices by clicking on Delete device.
- Uninstall the old Android app. Remove the legacy HandiFox app from all devices currently in use.
- Install the new Android app. Download the new version from the link below and install it on your devices.
New HandiFox Android App. - Log in and reconnect. Open the new app, log in, and reconnect it to your previously assigned inventory sites.
